Ajabu House on the shores of Lake Naivasha is just 2 hours away from Nairobi and is one of the most spectacular properties in East Africa. This amazing house is set in manicured lawns and gardens, huge fig trees surround the house and there are multiple seating areas to make the most of the scenery. The house has 8 bedrooms and can easily accommodate a group of up to 18, overlooking Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot in the distance. Even though it is over 100 years old, the house has been finished and decorated to perfection, with an amazing team of house help and a chef.
So, what to do when you’re at Ajabu? Well, there is a lake directly in front on the house, so fishing, skiing, wake boarding are all permitted on the lake, though the house does not come with the equipment, so you would need to bring your own, or we can give you the contacts for local companies that can help. There is the Great Rift Valley Golf course nearby, Nakuru National Park is accessible from the house, as in Longonot National Park and the many attractions around Lake Naivasha. Or, just come to house, enjoy the hospitality and take it easy, maybe have a game of tennis on the murram court? It’s not Wimbledon, but the kids will enjoy having a run around.
