Olerai Cabin, Naivasha
On the shores of Lake Naivasha in a private 300-acre wildlife sanctuary. Olerai Cabin is a colourful and cosy private house that sits under the canopy of towering acacia trees, with emerald green lawns that stretch down to the lakeshore. Combining nature, adventure and relaxation, Olerai makes for a perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. The wildlife sanctuary is teaming with gazelle, giraffe, waterbuck, colobus monkeys and impala and over 150 species of bird.
At night you can see as many as twenty hippos grazing on the lake shore. Olerai Cabin accommodates up to 4 guests in two bedrooms, one double and one twin (an extra bed can be added for a child under 16) with a shared bathroom, dining and sitting room area, kitchen, and veranda. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, freezer, cutlery and crockery. The house has a lovely veranda with an external table and chairs, two garden sunbeds and a barbecue grill as well as use of the shared swimming pool. Homemade ready cooked meals can be ordered directly from the booking office, together with fresh milk, a basket of organic vegetables, freshly baked bread, scones, brioches and other cakes, which is produced by the farm. Or if you feel like a delicious lunch and a swim you can book a table at Olerai House lodge, which is close by.
