Set on the Malewa River near Gilgil, Honeymoon Hut is a ‘rustic’ luxury get-away for two. This sensational little house makes an ideal romantic getaway and is strictly adults only – Honeymoon Hut does not permit children, for safety more than anything. With wonderful views from the veranda overlooking a bend in the Malewa river, there is plenty to feast your eyes upon including hippo bypassers and a large flock of bee-eaters who nest in the cliffs nearby. Inside is a one-room nest for two with a jacuzzi, fire-place, fully functioning kitchen, queen-sized bed and en suite loo and shower.

Honeymoon Hut is just 1.5 hours from Nairobi, in a wildlife area and a 4×4 is needed to access during the rainy seasons (let us know if you need help hiring one). Once there you can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and amazing biking opportunities. Alternatively watch the world go by from your amazing veranda overlooking the river. This truly is the perfect place to get away and take stock of life with that special person.
