One of the newest and best self-catered properties we have is the sensational Kichaka Camp, in Bisil. Set in the Mparasha Hills, Kichaka offers an authentic glamping experience with some of the comforts and luxuries of home. The camp sleeps 16 guests comfortably in 4 luxurious ensuite safari tents and 2 spacious ensuite family pods. The double safari tents contain comfortable queen-sized beds, and the family quad pods each contain a queen-sized bed and 2 single beds sleeping all sleeping a total of 12 Adults and 4 children. An extra bed can be provided for a child sleeping with parents. The tents are tastefully decorated and the funky bathrooms at the back of the tents give the place an amazing safari vibe.

There is a stunning thatched banda for guests to relax in, with a charming open plan lounge and dining area, and a spacious fully equipped kitchen. A charcoal barbecue and pizza oven are conveniently placed outside the banda for outdoor cooking. The banda overlooks a gorgeous private pool decked out with sunbeds, loungers and tables and there is a small pool for the kids. Kichaka is self-catering and guests cook for themselves. There is a team on hand to assist with the washing up and food prep.

Set on a 100-acre farm in the Maparasha Hills, this secluded hillside retreat is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature with opportunities for bush walks and hikes in the surrounding hills where on a clear day you can see Kilimanjaro. There are cycling and running trails in and around the farm and horse-riding can be arranged for guests wishing to explore further afield. Kichaka is a bird lovers paradise and home to resident Dik Dik, Impala and Bush buck. The farm engages in beekeeping and sheep farming and the lambing season is always a favourite with the children!

Chill by the pool, play a round of croquet, or lie in a hammock under the shade of an acacia tree and enjoy the abundance of bird life. There are plenty of fabulous sun downer spots in and around the camp and a campfire for guests to enjoy in the evenings.
