Ol Ngalau, 4 guests, Naivasha

One of the most recent properties to join the Langata Link Holidays family is this gorgeous family house located on the north lake road, Naivasha…. we present to you Ol Ngalau House. Ol Ngalua is the epitome of rustic, old school decor, but finished off to perfect with everything you need in a property. This stunning house has 2 ensuite bedrooms, space enough for 4 adults and 2 kids (either in the bedrooms or on the sofas in the living room). The house comes with a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a full contingent of staff to look after you when you’re there. There is a chef at the house who can cook a mean breakfast and help prep other meals only.

Stepping out through the veranda there is a huge lawn, where hippos come and graze into the night, adding to the wildlife orientated feel of the place. To one side of the garden you have a deck to enjoy an afternoon BBQ and a sun downer, or head over to the lakeside deck to take in the sensational views over looking Lake Naivasha. To finish it all off, yes Ol Ngalau has an amazing swimming pool, you wont be swimming Olympic lengths, but its perfect for a dip, to take the heat out of the day and relax with friends.

A couple of rules to be aware of while staying at Ol Ngalau:

No Pets

No Smoking inside

Guest must supply their own drinking water & provisions

Staff must finish shift no later than 6pm & start no earlier than 7am due to hippos.

Do not feed the monkeys

All fires must be in jikos including inside the sitting room (due to makuti thatch roof)

Barbecue/sundowner terrace for use during daylight hours only. It will not be lit at night.

No loud music or noise disturbing to Ol Ngalau’s neighbours or wildlife

Maximum guest 4 adults (plus 2 children by prior arrangement)

If you don’t know what happens in Naivasha, you’re missing one of Kenya’s highlights. On the south of Lake Naivasha, you can go horse riding or boating, or venture into Hells Gate National Park and go rock climbing, hiking and cycling. For the super fit, why not take on the climb up Mount Longonot or (for the less fit) go walking on the Crescent Island Conservancy? Alternatively, set the pace a little slower and take the family out to lunch under huge acacia trees at Carnelley’s or The Ranch House Bistro. On the north side of the lake, the Great Rift Valley Club provides golf, tennis and swimming facilities. Once you’re in the area, it’s a short run-up to Elementaita Conservancy and Nakuru National Park. Altogether, Naivasha offers a great collection of activities for everyone, and we have a great collection of houses to make your stay memorable..
