The incredible Swimbo House is second row back from beachfront but enjoys an elevated position that catches the breeze and provides beautiful ocean views across Watamu Beach and Turtle Bay from both the lovely pool and veranda. It sleeps 8 in 3 double bedrooms with two tiny kids rooms and extra singles in two of the doubles
2 king size bedrooms each side of the house facing the sea, with a single bed and a king size bed , fans and mosquito nets with shelving and wardrobe space a table and chair for office working bedside lamps leading to an ensuite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower which then lead on to a veranda overlooking the sea. At the end of this corridor each side is a small child’s pod with a very small single bed, mosi net and fan with shelving and bedside table. On one side of these doubles is an additional bathroom with loo and shower which is accessed by both the first bathroom and kids room and the veranda

Double bedroom ensuite with air conditioning with double bed with mosquito net and floor fan, wardrobe and cupboards, bedside shelf and side lamps and chair it leads to a shower room and toilet with sink and vanity unit. Two very tiny kids pod with kid size beds with a small tble and shelving and a fan with bathroom access. Inside dining room with bar area, dining table can seat 10 people or more, bookcases and fan over dining table. Covered sitting area and dining area with lamu beds x 3 and dining table seats 6 with a bench seating overlooking the beautiful turtle bay beach. In bustling Watamu the question is more what can’t you do from your doorstep? The KWS marine park that stretches the length of Watamu beach offers snorkelling, kite surfing and stand-up paddleboarding, or you can visit the amazing team at Local Ocean Conservation Trust to find out how they are protecting turtles or check out the whale shark migration. On land, it’s a short hop to the amazing Gede ruins, or learn more about smaller spectacular members of Kenya’s wildlife at Mida Creek, Butterfly Farm or BioKen Snake Centre, both hubs of conservation excellence. A short drive away, Arabuko Sokoke Forest is home to the amazing birdlife and some secretive elephants. Keep yourself fortified with endless meal options at Pili Pan, Medina Palms, Ocean Sports or the Crab Shack. If you fancy yourself as a serious fisherman, or you want to learn, Ocean Sports has some of the best deep-sea fishing boats on the coast. Malindi is half an hour away from Watamu, with stunning shopping and restaurants in the town, as well as the Driftwood Club. Whatever your coastal dream, we have a house for you.
