Unguja House, on the mouth of Takaungu Creek, bares testament to the traditional coral stone construction of an original Zanzibar Swahili House. The 3° South Water Sports Club is the place to go sailing, wind surfing and water-skiing and wakeboarding, for the young and active, or, Bofa Beach is the perfect place to enjoy the Indian Ocean and work on your tan. Vipingo Ridge golf course is half hour drive away for world class golfing on your holidays. The Kilifi New Year festival is one of the biggest attractions in the areas, spanning 3 days, with multiple stages, it is the new phenomenon on the coast.
