About Fish Eagle Cottage
Unwind & disconnect from the demands of the everyday world & enjoy the the sense of peace this cottage will bring you. Sit by the fire, cook delicious meals, relax on the patio with a cup of coffee or wine, take long walks to see the abundant game & bird life on the island, cruise the lake shore on a boat. Reconnect. This cottage is perfect for your next getaway where you can enjoy a true safari experience with the all comforts of home. Sanctuary fees included.
The Cottage has 2 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 twin (that can become another double room by pushing the beds together) and 2 camp beds can be setup in the living room for extra guests or children. It has 1 bathroom with shower. The house can sleep a maximum of 6 guests. The kitchen comes with cooking basics, cutlery and cooking equipment, fridge, freezer, gas stove and cook to assist you with meals. We provide filtered rain water for cooking and drinking (if you want bottled water you must bring it yourself). This house is entirely self catering and we do not arrange or provide any food for guests. Hippo House has outdoor chill out areas which feature unbeatable lake and conservancy views.
Crescent Island is a convenient two-hour drive (and a short boat ride!) from Nairobi. One of the first vacation properties on Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. It is located on Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island is often called Naivasha's best-kept secret. All conservancy fees for this stunning sanctuary are included in the price when you book the house. Please note this is a functioning sanctuary so there will be boats landing on the shore nearby with day visitors.
OUR ROOMS
The cottage is able to host up to six people. Guests will enjoy two bedrooms; one king and one twin (that can become a second double by pushing the beds together), one bathroom, a kitchen, dining area and a comfortable living area
and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Two camp beds can be set up for extra guests/children. Outside, guests will appreciate the expansive deck with lake
views and inviting sofas. All houses are solar powered and surrounded by an electric fence.

Boat transfers cost
1,500/- ($15) per transfer. Max 7 pax per boat.
All the houses on Crescent Island are self catering.
All rates are inclusive of 16% VAT and 2% Catering Levy.
Extra activities are:
Guided walks @1000 per adult and 500 per child
Non-guided walks are included in the price.
Boat rides - 3000 per hour, max 7 pax per boat
Night game drives - 4000 per drive, maximum 6 pax.
