This gorgeous lakeside home is brimming with color and character. The house is perfect for large groups and it is set on a hill with sweeping views of the Lake and the surrounding game reserve. Relax on the patio, take long walks to see the game & bird life on the island or cruise the lake shore on a boat. At Hippo House you will enjoy a true safari experience but with the all comforts of home.

Inside the main house there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house can fit a maximum of 10 guests. The kitchen comes with cooking basics, cutlery and cooking equipment, fridge, freezer, gas stove and cook to assist you with meals. We provide filtered rain water for cooking and drinking (if you want bottled water you must bring it yourself). This house is entirely self catering and we do not arrange or provide any food for guests. Hippo House has outdoor chill out areas which feature unbeatable lake and conservancy views.

Crescent Island is a convenient two-hour drive (and a short boat ride!) from Nairobi. One of the first vacation properties on Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. It is located on Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island is often called Naivasha's best-kept secret. All conservancy fees for this stunning sanctuary are included in the price when you book the house. Please note this is a functioning sanctuary so there will be boats landing on the shore nearby with day visitors.
