Jabali House, Watamu

Jabali is centrally located on the Watamu strip, next door to Turtle Bay Resort. An incredible modern style house with a swimming pool, tranquil gardens and ocean views, Jabali has everything you need for your next Watamu experience. Jabali comes with a king-sized bedroom on the first floor, connected to a twin room. Both these rooms are en suite and air-conditioned. On the upper level, there is another en suite bedroom with a king-sized bed, with air conditioning outside star bath, and terrace overlooking the pool.

Jabali has multiple areas to chill around the house including an inside living room, airconditioned TV room with a flat-screen TV and DVD player (extra charges apply for satellite TV access). The top deck area has amazing views and a pergola next to the pool with built-in seating for you to enjoy. There is also a fantastic pizza oven with a bar that can seat 8 people and access to Wi-Fi (although you need to buy your own bundles).

In bustling Watamu the question is more what can’t you do from your doorstep? The KWS marine park that stretches the length of Watamu beach offers snorkelling, kite surfing and stand-up paddleboarding, or you can visit the amazing team at Local Ocean Conservation Trust to find out how they are protecting turtles, or check out the whale shark migration. On land, it’s a short hop to the amazing Gede ruins, or learn more about smaller spectacular members of Kenya’s wildlife at Mida Creek, Butterfly Farm or BioKen Snake Centre, both hubs of conservation excellence. A short drive away, Arabuko Sokoke Forest is home to the amazing birdlife and some secretive elephants. Keep yourself fortified with endless meal options at Pili Pan, Medina Palms, Ocean Sports or the Crab Shack. If you fancy yourself as a serious fisherman, or you want to learn, Ocean Sports has some of the best deep-sea fishing boats on the coast. Malindi is half an hour away from Watamu, with stunning shopping and restaurants in the town, as well as the Driftwood Club. Whatever your coastal dream, we have a house for you.
